Power Brakes include Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mechanical brakes of the press or leaf variety. Hydraulic brakes can be a cylinder powered punch being driven into a V shaped die or a leaf brake powered with a hydraulic cylinder. Pneumatic brakes use compressed air to power the cylinder. Mechanical brakes can be the leaf type brake powered by a brake motor or a press brake using a clutch and brake to control the stroke of the ram.
